Four young chefs will present a five course dinner to
raise funds for and awareness of the Dr. Jay Charitable Foundation.

The Dr. Jay Charitable Foundation
provides a free service for children who require help from professionals
who are devoted to teaching families and children to deal with grief,
dying and the healing process.
As the only one
of its kind in Canada their programs focus on the following:

Programs to support children who
are dying or are experiencing the death of a family member.

Educational and support groups
for families and caregivers of grieving or terminally ill children.
-
Outreach initiatives to teach
professionals, volunteers and spiritual leaders about the unique needs
of children facing terminal illness.
Brooklyn
(granddaughter of the owners of The Gingerbread House) and three of her
classmates, Emma, Abbey and Kaitlyn are all 11 years old. Brooklyn
already has several years of experience in the kitchen and with the help
of her friends will be presenting a five course gourmet dinner. Priced
at $35.00 plus taxes and gratuity. Voluntary donations will be accepted
and appreciated. All proceeds collected will be donated to the Dr. Jay
Charitable Foundation. Tax receipts available.
